the *actual* difference between “gamer girls” and girls who actually play video games

girl gamer: omgggg yeah gamer girls are like totally annoying and stuff, and I’m totally a serious gamer and everything, like I’ve even played mario once! And all my guy friends appreciate me because I’m a good gamer and not just because I’m a girl.
…Seriously, I’ve never once met a so-called gamer girl. But the girl gamers I’ve met all fall into the same scheme for some reason. Also, cursing at a casual game does not make you a gamer.
